Hello everyone, and welcome to a new episode of Mind Unplugged. You tuned in today for an inspiring episode about writing, storytelling, dragons, dragon riders, the whole pack, and of course, personal development. Therefore, I have the pleasure of welcoming today, Christopher Paolini!

Christopher is the author of the Inheritance Cycle, The Fork, The Witch and the Worm, and his Sci-Fi debut, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. Among other things, Christopher is an educator and inspiring personality in the world of (young) writers and beyond.

He started his journey when he was 18 and published his first book, Eragon, the first part of the Inheritance Cycle. From then on, he continued sharing his talent for stories and growing as a person through his writings.

Today's episode is a walk back in time for me. A time when I was a child, and I was reading Christopher's books. Yet, this time, having the chance to speak to the creator of the Inheritance Cycle and seeing through his eyes the adventures that brought about the stories in his books. How he started writing at 14 years old and dealing with the youthful inexperience of life at that age; how the process of writing and getting started in this business is extensively laborious yet can be quite compelling for one's heart and spirit and how structuring stories and ideas can actually get you as an aspiring writer on the right path. These are all topics yet to be uncovered through this episode. The self-work is not to be neglected as long-term rewards tend to be deceiving in terms of being truthful to one's process. However, building habits based on short-term goals with small rewards can lead to a much more meaningful and successful work and, ultimately, life.

This episode also features Christopher's future projects and pieces of advice he's gathered throughout his writing years.
